Happy Anniversary to Me

Today, February 16th is my 32nd wedding anniversary.
Happy Anniversary to my hubby William.

We have been through thick and thin, the good and bad, but we both still love and care for each other. We know we will always be there for each other.
For the last 32 years and the next 32 years, hopefully!

Here we are in 1980.

And here we are in 2010.

This is the card I made for Bill for our anniversary.
The stamp is an old set from Stampin' Up, Antique Autos.
I printed the sentiment on the computer.

Front, "I Love Everything Vintage"
Inside, "Including You... Happy Anniversary"

My hubby knows I really like "old" stuff, so he knows I do love him lots!

He always tells me that he only has a "store bought" card for me, but they always have sweet and loving sentiments, and I like them just the same. Someday he says he will go in my scrap room and make me a card. Oh, what a special card that would be.

We did not go out to celebrate on our special day. Bill had ankle surgery just last Thursday, and even though Bill said he would be willing to go out, I knew he would not feel up to it.
So tonight I cooked some rib eye steaks and pasta at home, and we will go out one day next week.

The card is really much warmer looking? Sorry for the bad photo!

  2. Awww, Happy Anniversary!! That's such a perfect guy card! My husband, years ago before we were married, used to make cards for me, lol, they were usually decorated with rock and roll sayings! It sounds like you had a wonderful time staying at home and relaxing with a nice dinner!
